Carbonates
Carbon & oxygen isotope ratios of carbonate
δ13CCO3 & δ18OCO3
Carbonate stable isotope ratio analysis is a classic measurement in Earth and Ocean Sciences and is a specialty of UCSC SiL. Sample types include foraminifera and other fossils, sedimentary rocks, teeth and bones, otoliths, and speleothem. UCSC SiL measures >30 carbonate samples daily. The carbonate sample measurement rate is $13.00 for UC and affiliates or $20.02 for non-affiliates.

Typical precision (1σ):
0.04 ‰ VPDB for δ13C0.08 ‰ VPDB for δ18O
